Hello, my friends! Welcome back to another post and yet another week of the sweltering hot weather that we call summer.

Now, I don't know about you, but since quarantine and the whole lock down stuff started, my family and I have taken the time to start working out at home with an amazing gal from a website called Nourish Move Love (like, seriously, her stuff is insane. You should go check her out)!

Also, my mom and I signed up to run a half marathon at the beginning of the year, but since, you know, Rona decided to take over the world (rude!), it's been postponed and we are now running it all by ourselves in November. Talk about crazy!

Of course, you can't run or work out in skinny jeans and Vans, so I started collecting active items and wearing work-out appropriate attire for my daily routines.

So, that's what this post is all about today! I am going to be sharing with you guys a couple of outfits that I wear for running and working out.

But first, I wanted to take the time to share with you guys something that is super important to me (and also the reason I've been running).

Imagine you wake up early in the morning. You're tired, hot, and most importantly, you're thirsty. You know that your siblings, your parents, your family are all thirsty and are depending on your trip to collect water. You know that your family is depending on that water to get through the day.

And imagine walking on an average of four miles to collect that priceless water. You miss school to face the dangers of what the world brings, just so you can bring a jerrycan full of dirty, contaminated water back to your family.

Imagine that was your younger sister. Your younger brother.

Imagine that was your daughter, your son, your cousin, your niece or nephew.

   Imagine that was you.

Every day, children in many parts of the world are walking four miles to bring home water for their families. This water is often contaminated, and more than 1,000 children under the age of 5 die every day from sickness caused by unclean water.

That is why I am running with an organization called World Vision.

World Vision is working on changing lives for people all around the world, providing clean water for their basic, yet super important everyday needs. And, you guys can help.

By clicking on this link, you'll be taken to my team page. Or, more specifically, my fundraising page.

If you guys donate just $50, you'll be providing water for one child for life. That's a pretty big deal, yeah? Take that shopping spree, that monthly Starbucks budget, whatever it is, and give it to a person who desperately needs your help.

   I think it's worth it.

So will you help? Will you donate to World Vision and help spread the word? I can tell you now, you won't regret it.

I hope you guys will see that this is super important to me, and that is why I am sharing it with you guys and running each and every day. I know that this introduction was really long, but please take the time to read it and consider donating!

   Now, onto the outfits!

Outfit No. 1

Top: Light Pink Relaxed Tank, similar here | Bottoms: Adidas 3-Stripe Leggings, Adidas | Shoes: Asics Contend-5 Running Shoes, Dick Sporting Goods | Hat: Black Baseball Cap, similar here

For our first outfit, I am showing y'all this one that I love! I've worn this out running, working out, and I've even worn it out just shopping around because it is a super cute and sporty outfit!

I absolutely love these Adidas leggings, and if you've seen my 3 Ways to Style Footbed Sandals post, you'll know that I got these at a really great price: $20 at Costco! Yes! You guys know I LOVE a good price!

Outfit No. 2

Top: Black Reebok Fitted Tank, similar here | Bottoms: High-Waisted Elevate Leggings, Old Navy | Shoes: See first outfit

Our next outfit is a running must! These leggings from Old Navy are absolutely incredible.

They are compression leggings, meaning that they are tight and have breathable fabric, making them perfect for working out and running! I love these so much, though I would go a size up, because I find that these are really tight.

Also, I am wearing running socks from Dicks Sporting Goods and Amazon. If you'd like to go check those socks out, click these links:

   Onto our next outfit!

Outfit No. 3

Top: Orange Graphic Tee | Bottoms: Side Stripe Shorts, similar here

Our next outfit is a favorite of mine, as it is super simple, comfortable, and, of course, it supports World Vision!

I got this shirt for running a 6k for water in May, and the best thing about it is when you're in the sun, the white water graphic changes to blue! Super fun and motivating!

Also, when I took this picture we were in the middle of a summer thunderstorm, so I was worried about it being too dark. But, as it turns out, this picture makes me look super tan so I ain't complaining, lol! 😂

Outfit No. 4

Top: Teal Active Tank, similar here | Bottoms: Soft Black Shorts, similar here

For our fourth and final outfit, I'm wearing a super simple, comfortable, active outfit that's super easy to replicate. All I've got on is an active tank top, and some soft black shorts, and bam! super easy outfit to throw on for those early morning runs, workouts, or whatever you're up to!

Well, guys, that is it for this post! I hope you enjoyed it and I also hope you were inspired to not only work out in style, but also support World Vision!

Check back next week for another post! See ya.
