A Few of My Favorite Things...
"These are a few of my favorite things..." –Julie Andrews, The Sound of MusicHello again, my friends! So I know that I am not publishing this post on Saturday (as usual), but this one is a special post!*
So, some of you may know that today is my birthday! Yep, I was born on May 6, 2003, which makes me seventeen years old.
Yikes! Where did the time go, am I right?
Anyway, today I thought I'd share with y'all some of my favorite things–fashion version! I am going to show you the items in three categories, and at the end show the items in some outfits!
So, let's get to some of my favorite things!
Please Note: All of the items listed below have a filter on them, which makes the color a little different than what they are in real life. ALSO, some of the links below are affiliate links and I will earn a commission if you purchase through those links. I use most or all of the products listed below and recommend them because they are companies that I have found helpful and trustworthy. Please let me know if you have any questions about anything listed below!
Favorite Item No. 1—Jeans
Kicker Boot-cut Jeans, Old Navy |
Distressed Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans, Old Navy |
Super Skinny Jeans, Old Navy |
Our first collection is jeans! And boy, do I love them! I gave you three of my most worn pairs of jeans: my Kicker Boot-cut, Distressed Rockstar Super Skinny, and Super Skinny jeans!
In this blog you will be seeing a lot of these guys, because they are my absolute favorites!
Old Navy always delivers with their jeans, as they fit true to size and look amazing on every body type. True, they can sometimes be expensive, but if you check in regularly you will always find great deals!
Favorite Item No. 2—Shirts
Burnt Orange Tee, similar here |
Periwinkle Tied Top, Walmart |
For King & Country Band T-shirt, similar here |
Now for our shirts! These three shirts are a few of my favorite ones to wear.
So, let me tell you about the two t-shirts. The burnt orange one is from a Christian youth camp that I went to, and I really like it. I bought it because I realized that I like wearing a lot of neutral tones like black, gray, and white, so I needed a pop of color in my wardrobe.
The second one (the band t-shirt) is from a concert I went to of one of my most favorite bands ever, for King & Country. I find myself wearing this one a lot, so I decided to add it. I mean, who can go wrong with a good ol' t-shirt, right?
I added the third shirt because I really love the periwinkle color of it, and it's a great add to your spring and summer collection! I feel like this one can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. Also, there are a few different colors to choose from, if you click the link!
On to our next category!
Favorite Item No. 3—Shoes
Checkered Slip-Ons, Vans |
Suede Ankle Boots, similar here |
White Converse All Star low tops, Converse |
Let me tell you guys something... I love shoes. Yes, yes, I'm a typical teenage girl.
But not just any shoes. I am a stickler for Vans and Converse, and if I could, I would own EVERY. SINGLE. PAIR. OF. SHOES that these two companies have to offer!
So, it was just fitting that I added these two pairs!
I also added these suede boots that I love! If you read my earlier post, 5 Stylish (Yet Affordable) Outfits to Try This Spring, then you will know that I actually found these in a girl's section at Walmart!
But, once again, I put a link to women's size of a boot similar to mine.
Now, these are just some of my favorite things to wear out of the millions of clothes I own, but now I am going to show you some outfits with the items I have shown you!
