Welcome back to another post, my friends! So, my original plan for the post this week was delayed (due to the key product being delivered late. But don't worry, I'll be posting the surprise item in the next two weeks!), so instead I thought I'd share with y'all my favorite ways to style....boot-cut jeans!

Now, prior to this I was not quite sure if boot-cut jeans were back in style. I did know that boot-cut was big in the early 2000s, as many wore the low-waisted ones paired with crop tops. But, after some research I found this quote:
Boot-cut jeans are back. Thanks to designers such as Celine, Marc Jacobs, and Gucci, the leg-lengthening, flared denim silhouette is set to be huge next year. - Who What Wear, "The 6 Jean Trends We'll Be Wearing in Spring 2020
What'da know? I just thought boot-cut jeans were more of a background style from the mid- 2000s and up. But, they're coming back!

Now, they've changed a bit to concur with current trends, such as raising those waists up to mid- and high-rise, which is extremely popular now!

I decided to make this post because I for one love my Kicker Boot-cut Jeans from Old Navy, but couldn't find any outfit inspiration for teens and jeans (lol). So, I thought I'd change that! I'm going to show you teen gals that boot-cut is back, and hopefully I can inspire y'all to take this trend to your own styles.

Well, now that you know a little bit about boot-cut, I'm going to show you how to style them- teen edition!

Outfit No. 1

Top: "She is Strong" T-shirt, Harvest ∣ Bottoms: Kicker Boot-cut Jeans, Old Navy ∣ Shoes: Suede Ankle Boots, similar here

Our first outfit is one I love. I really love pairing my boot-cut jeans with a good ol' graphic tee and ankle boots. It's a super easy go-to for everyday looks!

One thing I would wear to totally spice this outfit up is a cardigan knit sweater, along with a wide brim fedora hat to go for that sort of boho vintage look, which BTW I am totally into right now! (P.S., you may see a fedora hat sometime in the future, I've had my eye on one!)

NOTE: See this outfit and more in my previous post, 5 Stylish (Yet Affordable) Outfits to Try This Spring

Outfit No. 2

Top: Black Graphic Band Tee, similar here ∣ Bottoms: Kicker Boot-cut Jeans, Old Navy ∣ Shoes: Suede Ankle Boots, similar here ∣ Cover: Lace Trim Kimono, similar here

So I really like this outfit, but I totally wish I had a fedora hat to go with it! Like I said earlier, I've totally been into the boho style lately, so this outfit is absolutely perfect! And the kimono just adds a little spring flair to it.

Outfit No. 3

Top: Rust Cold Shoulder Ruffle Top, similar here Bottoms: Kicker Boot-cut Jeans, Old Navy ∣ Shoes: Suede Ankle Boots, similar here
So our next outfit with boot-cut jeans is this one. I found this shirt at Target in the clearance section a long time ago, but somehow I managed to find a similar piece for pretty cheap. I love this shirt so much, and it goes well with my jeans and shoes!

Outfit No. 4

Top: Blush pink tank top, similar here or here | Bottoms: Kicker Boot-cut Jeans, Old Navy | Shoes: White Converse All Star Low Tops, Converse

Our second to last outfit is one you may have seen before, as I mentioned it on my previous post, 5 Stylish (Yet Affordable) Outfits to Try This Spring

This one is perfect for the spring weather, and I totally recommend it!

Outfit No. 5

Top: White Graphic Tee, similar here | Bottoms: Kicker Boot-cut Jeans, Old Navy | Shoes: Vans Checkered Slip-ons | Jacket: Olive Green Jacket, similar here

For our concluding outfit I decided to go with this one. I added this because most of the outfits in this post were more vintage, less casual looks. So, this outfit is our casual, every day outfit!

I love my Vans, and they look perfect with this outfit.

Well, guys, that is it for this post! I hope you enjoyed diving in with me on the subject of boot-cut jeans, and I hope to inspire you to check them out!
